Joseph’s Estate Wines is a family-owned winery in the renowned Niagara-on-the-Lake wine district. With an emphasis on quality over quantity, this delightful winery has won numerous national and international awards. Known as the “Best Kept Secret in the Niagara Region” its superlative wines are created on founder Dr. Joseph Pohorly’s traditional winemaking principles of knowledge, craftsmanship and passion.
Dr. Pohorly, a pioneer in the wine industry, started one of the first three wineries in the region during the 1970’s. After selling the original winery he founded Joseph’s Estate Wines in the mid-90’s where “The Tradition Continues” - this motto reflecting its continuing focus on traditional winemaking.
Friendly hospitality, knowledgeable staff and superb wines await those wishing to experience a tour, a tasting and shopping in the boutique. In addition, these exclusive wines can be purchased by licensed establishments or the general public by direct order with delivery to your door. Custom labelled wines are available to corporations or individuals for any special occasion as are gift baskets.
