Our tradition of making quality wines continues. Over the past nine years, our wines have won more than 500 medals in national and international wine competitions. In 2001, our ’98 VQA Vidal Icewine won the “Grand Champion Trophy” for the Best Dessert Wine at the Indy International Wine Competition, a testament to our continuing success and a hallmark of our quality. Our ’99 Vidal Icewine won Double Gold in the 2003 All-Canada Wine Championships.

Our winery was also chosen as one of the top 10 Canadian Wineries of the Year, as selected by a Toronto Star readers’ poll in 2004.
All our wines are VQA designated and made from 100% Ontario-grown grapes. Vintners Quality Alliance is an appellation of origin system similar to France’s Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée and Italy’s Denominazione d’Origine Controlata. VQA is recognized as a symbol of quality for some of the finest wines produced in Ontario.
